Father's Day, Finland

A happy daddy on Father’s Day

This is not a travel related post, but today it was Father’s Day in Finland and thought of sharing with you a couple of happy moments I had with my family.

The day began with waffles topped with whipped cream and blueberry jam, my wife and our little princess had prepared. Please don’t ask how many of those I had.

The highlight of the day was this fab t-shirt I got as a present. The picture was drawn by our 5-year old and says “ISKÄ 2014” (“daddy” in Finnish). This was enough to make me the happiest daddy ever!

I think it looks so cool on me, I will never take it off!

We love to hear more from you, not just travel. At hne end of the day everything is a travel.

Please take the t-shirt off and both you and it. Else, you might not get another one in 2015!

Thank you Sue! It’s amazing how good she is. So proud of her! She got that gift from her mother, I am hopeless when it comes to drawing. 🙂

Oh, it was the best Father’s Day ever. The resemblance is amazing, isn’t it? She later confessed that she was sad the nose didn’t come out as well as she wanted. A perfectionist like her father! 🙂 Have a nice day!

Thanks Brownyn! I wonder if I should also publish the drawing she made of me in my halloween pumpkin suit. But then I am afraid nobody will ever take me seriously again. 🙂

I hate to think than in 10 years from now, she would be a teenager and most probably would not even say “hi” to me. 🙂
The waffles were fantastic and as usual, I overindulged and could not even stand on my feet for the next few hours. Thanks for stopping by, Joanna!
