Snorkelling vs Scuba Diving, La Digue, Seychelles

I just love infographics and thought of sharing with you one that I found particularly interesting. It is on snorkeling and scuba diving in Seychelles and was created by the talented folks at Builtvisible for Raffles Praslin. Expect to find lots of less known info and facts, a “Do’s and Don’ts” guide, and a colorful section on Seychelles’ exotic marine life. I especially like the concise guide about the top dive sites of the area. Did I just hear your “wanderlust alarm” going off?

By the way, if you are a fan of marine life and activities, check the blog of Indah Susanti. She loves traveling and scuba diving, and her underwater photos are an unforgettable experience in themselves.

I have created a couple of infographics myself, but this one was done by a true professional. I am really glad you liked it. Unfortunately, I am not a diver. I would have loved to try, but I am asthmatic. So snorkelling is the only option for me. Have you ever scuba dived?

  1. Thank you so much for the mention 🙂 you made my day 😀
The infographics is very informative. In Seychelles as it appears you can see so much with just snorkeling! I think if I were in Seychelles, I am going to do both, the snorkeling and scuba diving. The red lipped batfish is very cute – I will be happy to see this fish even when snorkeling 😀

My pleasure Indah! I should be the one to say thank you for all the fantastic stories and photos you post. Keep up the good work! 🙂

  2. Very good explanations – perfect graphics. Congrats! Well done.
Vasilis – you have to travel to Seychelles and do your Open Water Diver at Liz’ Place! Highly recommended from me.

Thank you Barb! I would certainly love to visit Seychelles and do some scuba diving one day. I remember in the 80’s-when I was still living in Greece-there was this Greek song about going on holidays to the Seychelles. It was a massive hit! 🙂
The super-talented folks over at Builtvisible did this fabulous graph. I only serve as the publishing medium in this case. 🙂 Take care!
